First time posting here....so please ,please ignore any mistake i made in the post hor...
BBQ details:
The date is on 28 October 2006 [not yet finalised but if there is no news from us ( Organising Committee and yes , i know it seems chim* ) , we stick with it kayes? ]
The time is from 4 pm to maybe ....( of course before 9 pm lar , though we might delay for a bit* ) 4 pm we shall start the event with a water bomb game,so those who want to join in, please be reminded to wear casual clothes , we are not having a prom party here. and of course bring extra clothing for we will not want you to catch a cold... duh. By around 6 pm , the BBQ will start and there will be songs , of course. * Plastic bag will be provided also for the throwing of rubbish
Food , if you do not know , is being decided upon a poll under the navigation * past * please vote for your choice and , as a matter of fact ,we do not limit the number of food or drinks you picked.The people ( the committee larhhx ) will go and buy it and volunteer are entitled to $1 off the fee you have to pay.* Entitled on a first come first serve basis
Rate : hmmm....that one haven decide yet but the more people that come,the lesser the fee you have to pay lar. The fee will be posted later on after the exam, around 15 oct , mostly everyone is supposed to pay the full amount even the committee also, except for the volunteers . *For those who want to volunteer regarding the volunteering buying of food,please put your name on the tagboard and guys ,if you see got 5 names already,the rest may stop volunteering liao
Songs : For those who wants their song to be played on the day * ur favourite songs * send an email to me[cherpeng] and i will try to find the songs,if i am unable to find it , bring your songs along and we would played it for you.
P.S: committee are not counted as the volunteers but you all HAVE to buy the food unless you are really really really very busy that day...
In case of rain, the BBQ will be cancelled off and then reschedule to another date or perhaps cancelled totally. If it is a heavy downpour , we will find shelther and slowly released you off. If it is a slight drizzle ,we will still seek shelther but the plan is slightly different, we would wait for the rain to stop and continue,if it does not stop , we will have to reschedule the date to maybe the next day or. unfortunately , to the other month.
Location : The area located would be in East Coast Park , the BBQ pit number would be informed at a later post,which is probably after exam, 15 oct
Bringing of friends:The committee allow the people to bring friend over but pls inform us beforehand and pls be notified that the friend you bring along will have to pay the fee also...
Reconfirmation : Guys , after examinations the committee will be calling everyone to reconfirm so please do not shout at us when you picked up the phone * ample warning have been given*. Anyway part of the details have been posted, the other part we shall provide you with more information after examinations. This shall be one of the last announcement regarding the BBQ before the exams. For your reminder again, people in the Committee are: Jasmine Kong, Cheryl Phua , Min Ying , Valerie , Cher peng and Royce.All the best in your examinations....We will be waiting for the good news of ur marks....
